Today's lectures

Security: The lecture today was better than last time. We continued talking about policy of information flow, covert channel and downgrading. The last one is very interesting indeed, one could hide text/picture in the least significant bits of picture/text. You guy could make a small piece of program to secretly chat with your girl friend and impress them ;)

PrinCom: We were in the middle of Routing protocol and talking about Vector Distance and Link State, using Ford_Bellman and Dijkstra algorithms, respectively. Some implementations of routing protocol were also mentioned such as RIP, BGP and PNNI (ATM technique).

Thought of the day:
- Types supervision was good.
- Have time to revise Information Theory and Coding. However, together with Bioinformatics, these are the courses I regret not being able to take them this year :(
